The colossal telescope with a diameter of 1,640 ft has taken more than five years to be constructed in the Pingtang country in China.
The telescope also known as FAST (Five hundred meter Aperture Spherical Telescope) lead to the relocation of around 9,000 villagers. With the nearest town at least three miles away FAST has the perfect radio silence to listen to the skies.
