“Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose Described As A Friend Of The Common Man”

Governor Fayose was Monday described as a friend of the common man, a friend of an ordinary man who has no hope in the Society. This was made known at the thanksgiving ceremony of Mr Clement Adekola, the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ekiti State which took place at CAC, Ori Oke Aanu, Ikere-Ekiti.
Governor was welcomed by the members of the church in their hundreds. The Pastor of the church welcomed Governor Fayose to the mist of the congregation saying they are blessed to have the governor among them. In his remarks, Governor Fayose appreciates the church for welcoming him to their mist, he also commended Mr Clement Adekola for being a member of that church saying if Mr Adekola was to be someone else, he would have preferred worshiping in a bigger church like the cathedral but rather sticks to the church in their little numbers. The Governor described Adekola as a very big pillar in his government and also commended other Associations working together for the good will of Ekiti. Meanwhile, Governor Fayose has said his coming to the church has given him the opportunity to see the the situation of the road leading to College of Education Ikere-Ekiti and the church. Pressed further by the members of the church on the said College road, the governor said they should leave everything to him. The Governor who supported most of his words with different bible verses was applauded by all members of the church including the pastors in the church. He thanked the good people of Ikere-Ekiti for their usual support and promised he will continually make the town a priority as it use to be in his first term in office.
