Bayern Munich Boss Carlo Ancelotti Under Fire After Sticking The Middle Finger Up At Football Fans PICS

Carlo Ancelotti could face a German FA wrap after admitting putting his middle finger up at Hertha Berlin supporters. Bayern Munich boss Ancelotti made the offensive gesture at home fans but claimed it was in response to being spat on during a Bundesliga match.
League leaders Bayern drew 1-1 at Hertha on Saturday thanks to Robert Lewandowski's stoppage-time equaliser.

But Ancelotti was left furious by the conduct of the Hertha fans and was caught on camera appearing to raise his middle finger in their direction.

When asked about the incident, Ancelotti told ARD Sportschau: "Yes, I made the gesture because I was spat on."

ARD report that the German Football Association (DFB) will contact the former Chelsea, Paris St Germain and Real Madrid boss for his views on the matter.

Ancelotti was not the only member of the Bayern team unhappy with the Hertha support.

Manchester United Legend 'Denied Entry Into US' Under Donald Trump's Border Laws

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has been 'denied entry into the US' under Donald Trump's new border laws as he 'has an Iranian stamp in his passport'. According to former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys, the United ambassador was refused to enter the country under the border controls recently put in place by President Trump.
Keys posted on Twitter: 'Well done @realDonaldTrump. Man U ambassador Dwight Yorke denied transit access to Miami cause he has Iranian stamp in passport. #crazy'.

President Trump passed a controversial executive order, which has since been overturned, banning visas for seven Muslim countries, including Iran, last month.

The former Red Devils frontman was a pundit on beIN Sports on Thursday night to provide analysis for United's 3-0 win over Saint-Etienne in the Europa League. On Friday morning Yorke was allegedly stopped on his transit to Miami.

It is unclear why former Aston Villa, Sunderland and Blackburn forward Yorke was travelling to the US, but his ambassadorial role takes him all over the world and regularly sees him play in United legends XIs overseas.

FIFA Features Super Eagles Coach As He Aims To Lead Nigeria To New Heights....

Many German coaches such as Otto Pfister, Rudi Gutendorf and Burkhard Ziese have led teams throughout Africa with varying degrees of success. But while the trio represent the old guard of coaches, a new generation has found their way to the continent. FIFA.com spoke exclusively to one of the new breed: Gernot Rohr.
When the 63-year-old took over Nigeria in August last year, the Super Eagles had just failed to qualify for a second CAF Africa Cup of Nations in a row. The disappointment was palpable in the football-mad west African country, having come shortly after lifting the trophy in South Africa in 2013 and competing with distinction at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

Rohr was thus given a clear directive: ensure the Super Eagles qualify for Russia 2018. Achieving that feat will mean overcoming the so-called 'Group of Death' with Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia standing in the way. The former defender, who became an iconic figure at Bordeaux during his playing days, got off to a winning start with Nigeria, beating Tanzania 1-0 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier that had already been rendered meaningless after Egypt secured the lone qualifying berth from Group G.

More importantly though, Rohr got the Super Eagles off to a winning start in their World Cup qualifiers, recording a tough 2-1 win in Zambia. Nigeria then collected a confident 3-1 victory at home against Algeria. The six points, coupled with some surprising results in the other games, leaves Nigeria with an early four-point lead.

“Winning our first two matches was a great start, but we will not play again until the end of August and early September, when we face Cameroon,” said Rohr. “They of course are African champions and will be highly motivated to take the form from Gabon into the World Cup qualifiers.

“I do not get carried away. It is a very tough group and nothing has been decided. But I admit that, at the moment, we have a small advantage and if we win our two matches at home against Cameroon and Zambia, we will qualify.”

Like many of his counterparts throughout Africa, Rohr can call up a host of players plying their trade throughout Europe. But unlike most, Rohr has an array of players who appear regularly in one of the world's toughest leagues: the English Premier League. “As the team and the country had been deeply affected by failing to qualify for the finals in Gabon, I wanted to bring in some younger players into the squad. This, of course, is without closing the door on anyone.”

Rohr handed a first call-up to Isaac Success and also included youngsters like Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho. But the German did not put all his faith into talented youngsters, he included experienced campaigners like Elderson Echiejile, John Ogu and captain John Obi Mikel in his squad.

Young Child Saved By A Burnley Fan From A Wayward Shot During Chelsea Match. Photos

Burnley put in a spirited display against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, pushing the Premier League leaders all the way. But the most impressive display came from a quick-thinking Burnley fan who saved a young child in the crowd from a very nasty accident indeed.
After Pedro had given the Blues the lead, Sean Dyche's side were pressing hard to get back into it. As they launched another attack, Ashley Barnes sent a shot towards goal but couldn't wrap his foot around it enough and it flew into the crowd.

It appeared to be heading towards a young fan being propped up by his mum but the quick-thinking actions of the fan behind them saved the day; palming the ball away expertly.

A football fan was almost hit by a car after being floored with a single punch in the middle of a busy main road following a derby match between Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle in the UK. The shocking attack was captured on camera as a small group of fans brawled after Exeter lost 3-0 to Argyle.
In the footage, the young fan takes a punch to the face and tumbles to the floor - as an oncoming car screeches to a halt.

It misses his head by a matter of inches before he climbs to his feet.

Eyewitnesses claim the ugly confrontation broke out between Exeter fans in front of children and families after they left Argyle's ground on Saturday, the Plymouth Herald reported .

It came at the end of a day of ugly clashes between fans and police as pint glasses were allegedly hurled at officers.

A red flare was set off as Exeter supporters came face to face with police in the city centre and a Wetherspoons pub was reportedly evacuated.
